The SECOND appearance of JANIS at the Fillmore East in 1969 --- but the first with her new group the KOZMIC BLUES BAND. She had ended her gig with Big Brother & the Holding Company --- tho' Sam Andrews stayed on with her new band. I sat about six feet from her in the front row center. It was quite the unforgettable show. She looked so beautiful when she performed.
