TRAFFIC - BLUE CHEER & IRON BUTTERFLY - 1968

$60.00

This was my first poster for the Fillmore East. Having studied Painting & Lithography, I had no training in Graphic Arts, per se --- but I made a quick study of the existing west coast art & was automatically drawn to Victor Moscoso, who I still think is the best (along with David Singer). The Indian came from a drawing I had done in art school & used again on a Sam Sheppard Play at Lincoln Center. I feel that this Poster still stands up after all these years. It was the center-fold in the Rhino Records recent release of the Iron Butterfly performance at this venue
