This production, based on the 1944 Broadway hit by Bernstein & Comden & Green, garnered rave reviews, especially for the choreography & Andrea Martin’s hilarious performance as the dipsomaniacal Madame Maude P. Dilly. For the poster we decided to feature the six characters dancing on an Empire State Building set-back, instead of the usual three sailors belting “New York,NY”. Also, 2008, was the celebration of Bernstein’s 90th birthday, of which this show was a part.
