Jefferson Airplane 1970 Thanksgiving Show

$60.00

The Airplane traditionally performed a Thanksgiving Show at the Fillmore East. This 1970 Poster is inspired, of course, by Gustav Klimt,
a leader of the famous Viennese Secession Movement that was in sway at the beginning of the 20th Century. I also used my “Follies” neoDeco border as a framing device. This design was also used by Art Director, Boris Pachowsky, for the cover of a 1970 Stereo Review Magazine in which Grace is interviewed by columnist & NYC gadfly, Rex Reed. I also created a Harry Nillson cover & poster for this publication shortly afterwards.
