SOON: Off-Broadway Musical 1970

This is another poster where the clients printed the preliminary comp while I was awaiting their approval. Except for the $100 cheque, I never heard from them again. This was another of the ever-growing number of “Rock Operas” to hit the boards at the time. With music by Kookolis & Fagan and a book by Martin Duberman (a now very renowned & honored historian), it had a stellar cast of then unknowns: Richard Gere, Peter Allen, Barry Bostwick, Nell Carter & Marta Heflin. It opened in January of 1971 and closed after 3 performances. No one I have ever talked to remembers it at all.
