I created this poster with my partner Jolino Beserra for a fortune-telling game devised by a very large man and his very large “psychic” mother in the San Fernando Valley (we always had our business meetings at the House of Pies which helped sustain the clients’ girth). This was a time when we were painting in reverse on a black-line film positive, like an animation cell. It was tedious, but the results were beautiful. The game was produced with our art on the cover, but like so many things it never went anywhere, alas. Unavailable elsewhere.
